After graduating as an engineer and receiving an MBA I started my career in the Telecommunication and Information Technology Industries where I worked in different business roles across Europe in multinational organizations such as Digital Equipment Corporation ( now part of Hewlett Packard Corporation) and Oracle Corporation.
After working over 15 years in business, I went back to school, earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling and started my private practice (under the name Mental Fitness) in 2006 to provide individual and couple counselling, coaching and mentoring services.
I was trained and use a range of therapeutic approaches with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy and a Cognitive Behavioural approach to Coaching.
I hold a “Droit de Pratique” in the canton of Geneva which allows me to practice and to be reimbursed by certain insurances.
I am a professional member of the Swiss Association for Counseling.
The last 10 years of private practice have been very interesting and rewarding and have given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of issues and a very multi-cultural client base. I also had the opportunity to present in different forums such as World Radio Switzerland (WRS) on topics such as self-esteem, women’s mental health, work-life balance, depression or relationship issues.
